October 6, 2009 Work session 9 am-?
October 13, 2009 6:30 - 9 pm Fall Block exchange due to Shirley Trask and Geri Vieaux. There has also been a request
to bring to this meeting any and all PTQ group, Friendship blocks/quilts or monthly block
exchange quilts that have been won over the past 20 years. They do not have to be
completed- bring the bag they are safely being stored in or the finished quilt! It will be
a fun trip down memory lane.
Winner of the Bitty Butterfly blocks in September will introduce next block!!
October 23-25, 2009 Annual Fall Retreat at the Wisconsin Lions Camp
October 27, 2009 10 am-12:00 amSharon Rotz from Mosinee will present a program
titled "Merging Serging with Quilting" reflecting projects from her newest book of the same title.Dust off those
sergers and ber eady for some new ideas to use them in your quilting. Her book will be available for purchase and signing.
November 3, 2009 Work session 9 am-?
November 10, 2009 6:30-9 pm Have Fun With Your Backings. Review some ideas for making the back of your quilt as exciting as the front.
November 24, 2009 10 am-12 am Nina McVeigh, sewing specialist for Bernina of America, will be our guest. Emphasis of her program will be the evolution of her quilting style "under the influence" of machine embroidery.
