Liz Lois
will be at the
August 12, 2007 (pm) Meeting
to
relate her story of recreating the Salida Rupp quilt from the
1870. This Pennsylvanian quilt has 98 tiny 6" blocks and
resulted in Liz's book, Nearly Insane. See Liz's
version of this quilt along with other antique quilts from this
time period. Meeting will be at UWMC - lecture room.
Open to the public - free will donation taken for local food
bank

Road Trip
Time
This year we will be
taking the bus to the Minnesota Quilt Show being held in
Rochester, Minn. on Thurs., June
26. All bus costs and
admission to the show is $40.00 . sign up sheets are in
the April/June Newsletter. Non members welcome after June
1 - price $55.00. Pick-up locations will be Lamers Bus
Station in Weston and Marshfield Wal-Mart.
