A. Being Creative with Threads and the Decorative Stitches on your Sewing Machine
Sew Smart -- Rhinelander/Wausau, WI 

Join Mary as she shares a variety of threads available today and all the fun, creative ways you can use them with your sewing machine.

 

B. Quilt Piecing Tricks and Tips, Second Edition
Pie Safe Quilts -- Weston, WI

Lois will share more of her favorite tips and tricks to help you take your machine piecing from good to fantastic.

 

C. Keeping you in stitches Practice - Make & Take
Quilting & Needle Workshop - Wausau, WI 

Kari will demonstrate basic needlework stitches for your quilting and hand stitched projects and how to combine stitches for a new look.  For $5.00 a kit will be included with fabric and fibers to work along in class. 

 

D. Wool Snowman Pin - Make and Take
The Woolgathering -- Merrill, WI

Join Roxie as she discusses stitches, knots and techniques for your wool projects. In this class you will make an adorable snowman pin. Please bring: small sharp scissors and size 24 chenille needle. 

 

E.  Panel Play
Antoinette’s Quilt Shop -- Plover, WI

Enjoy a fun-filled hour with Sarah discovering many unique ways to use your favorite quilt panel. Bring your panels to get inspired. Learn about accents, colors, designs and leave with terrific ideas for your unique panel quilt.

Have appliqué questions?  We’ve got answers.  You’ll learn about appliqué history, as well as techniques for hand and machine appliqué, including decoding patterns and designing your own creations.

Learn to make a beautiful umbrella. Judy will teach you how to cut, sew and attach it to the frame in just one hour. Umbrellas are made from regular quilt cotton and waterproofed afterwards.

Babs has been exploring the world of Sashiko; an ancient hand embroidery technique from Japan. Come join her  as she shares information and techniques she’s learned on her journey.  Mug Rug Kit $5.

M. Making Fabric Postcards - Make and Take

Explore the possibilities for making postcards with your own creative style. Students can purchase a kit to be finished at home for only $2.

N. Fun with Fabric and Scissors
Farmgirl Quilts Studio -- Marquette, MI

Playing with fabric has never been so fun! Explore fabric selection, the use of value, and learn the various supplies needed to create collage quilts. You will leave looking at fabric in a whole new way! Take home pattern available for $5.
